Ní orúkọ Olódùmarè,

mo gbà ọdún tuntun yìí pẹ̀lú ìdùnú àti ọpẹ.

Kí gbogbo ohun rere tí mo pàdánù ní ọdún tó kọjá,

kí Ọlọ́run mú un padà wá sí mi lọ́nà tó dára ju tẹ́lẹ̀ lọ.

Kí ìlera, àlàáfíà, àṣeyọrí àti ìtẹ́lọ́run

má bà mí gbẹ ní ọdún tuntun yìí.

Kí gbogbo ọ̀nà tí ó ti di,

kí Olódùmarè ṣí i.

Kí gbogbo ibi tí mo bá fi ẹsẹ̀ tẹ̀,

kí ó yí padà sí ibi ìbùkún.

Kí ìmọ̀lára rere, ọgbọ́n, àti ìmọ̀lẹ̀

má bà mí lọ́kàn àti lọ́kàn-àyà.

Kí n má dá ayé mi gbe.

kí n rí ẹni rere ràn mí lọ́wọ́,

kí n sì jẹ́ ìbùkún fún ẹlòmíràn.

Odún tuntun yìí,

kí ó kún fún ayọ̀, ìdàgbàsókè, àti ìtẹ́lọ́run.

NEW YEAR BLESSING

In the name of God,

I receive this New Year with gratitude.

May every good thing I lost in the past year

be restored to me in a better and greater way.

May peace, good health, joy, and success

abide with me throughout this year.

May every closed door before me be opened,

and may every step I take lead to blessings.

May wisdom, clarity, and positive thoughts

guide my heart and my actions.

May I not walk alone;

may I meet helpers along my journey,

and may I also be a blessing to others.

This New Year shall be filled with growth, fulfilment,

divine favour, and answered prayers.

So shall it be. Amen.
