Ọjọ́jọ́ ṣe tálákà, wọ́n ní ọlè ni; bí ó bá ṣe ọmọ Bòròkìnì, wọ́n ní kó rọ́jú fi ata ṣe ẹnu.
Translation: When a poor person behaves in a certain way, they call him a lazy, but if it's the child of a rich person, they say he should endure and use pepper to spice his mouth.
Meaning: This points out societal double standards based on wealth or status.
The same action is judged harshly for the poor (labelled as laziness but excused or downplayed for the wealthy. It criticizes inequality and bias in judgment.
