EPISODE 6: The Threat
Within a week, everything began to fall apart.
Omotola’s biggest supplier suddenly cancelled their agreement.
Distribution contracts that had been moving smoothly came to a halt.
Then the online articles started appearing. Quiet at first, but clearly designed to plant doubt. They questioned the quality of her products and hinted that her brand might not be as trustworthy as it seemed.
It didn’t take long for her to trace where it was all coming from.
Aisha’s family.
Omotola gripped her phone tightly and called Tade.
“You brought war to my doorstep,” she said, her voice sharp with frustration.
On the other end, Tade sounded calm. Too calm.
“No,” he replied quietly. “They were always watching. I just stepped into the light.”
Omotola’s hands trembled slightly as she processed his words.
“Then don’t you dare walk away now,” she said.
There was a brief silence between them.
This was no longer just about attraction or late-night conversations.
Now it was about survival.
Strategy.
And strangely enough… the danger made everything feel even more intense.
